Over the Autumn term in Middle School we have been studying the book of 'Beowulf', the oldest surviving epic in British literature written by the famous author Michael Morpurgo. With our Anglo-Saxons topic, this linked perfectly and culminated with our own production of Beowulf in our show case last Monday. The children demonstrated fantastic drama skills and accompanied by the dimmed lights and dramayic music, it was a fantastic evening enjoyed by all. A very big well done to all pupils for showcasing their drama skills for friends and family to see, what an evening!
