Authors Visit Years 2 to 6

It is important for our children to be inspired to write, so we were delighted to invite Katie and Kevin Tsang, authors of the 'Sam Wu' series, to our school to talk about their lives as co-authors and the skills they have used writing the Sam Wu series. 

Years 2 to 6 were fascinated at how they wrote their books as a team and where they got their inspiration to write their stories. The Sam Wu series is all about a boy facing up to his fears such as spiders, the dark, ghosts and sharks!

Katie and Kevin were very impressed with our budding authors as our children brainstormed an idea with Katie and Kevin for a new book, they had an endless supply of ideas including zombie sharks.

The talk was followed by a book signing for all those children that had pre-ordered books. Some children were overheard discussing writing a book at home...in pairs!
