Book Band Reading Guide to Support Reading at Home

Miss Jess has introduced a Reading Book Band system in Year 1 to encourage children to read and we are delighted that so many parents are supporting this at home. The Book Band Reading Guide can now be found on our website, under the Key Stage 1 and 2 Curriculum section. The guide will support the laminated cards, which parents will receive when books go home, and will provide parents with further guidance as to how they might help their child at each stage according to which book band they are on
