
How do you get children to widen their interests and try something new? After School Clubs are a perfect opportunity to be curious...what is it like to play chess? What is Garage Band music and can I compose it on a computer? I've always wondered what decoupage was and I'm obsessed with films - what would a French film be like? Or I'd like to impress my family with some magic tricks but how can I learn some? These questions and many many more can be answered if pupils try out different clubs. Some of our pupils have firm favourite clubs that they attend every term whether it's Sport, Art, Lego, Dance, Drama, Gymnastics, DT and other pupils, well they might not have tried any...yet. So Miss Katie organised a Clubs' Fair for all of our pupils. The room was awash with enthusiasm as children carouselled from club to club, discovering new skills they could learn and having a taster of a new world of experiences.
