Year 6 Children Rise to Enterprise Project Island Challenge

Alongside all their learning about countries around the world this term, Year 6 have been working on an enterprise task and have discovered and built their very own islands. The children in Year 6 have designed their own symbolic flags, created their own national anthems and developed their very own laws and values. They have also explored the natural resources of their island and possible trade opportunities.

We have been incredibly impressed by their collaboration and independence throughout this project. They have even developed some local crafts and created their own delicious national dishes. The children are looking forward to presenting their learning to the rest of the school.
