Democracy at Wandsworth Prep School

Wandsworth Prep School are delighted to introduce our new School Council and Green Ambassadors for this year!

Our School Council changes and votes for its new members each year, reflecting how our own parliamentary system runs in the UK. Children in each class nominated themselves to run for School Council, prepared their reasons for why they wanted to join in the form of a speech, gave these speeches to their peers and on this basis were voted for by their peers to join the School Council. A huge well done to everyone who nominated themselves and gave fantastic speeches in front of everyone. 

The School Council is a great opportunity for every child to have their voice heard in the development of the School and we are excited for the projects that the School Council will embark on this year!
