Engage, explore and empower!

These are the keywords that have been spread around the school to help engage Wandsworth Prep pupils with UK Parliament Week 2018.

The School Council and Green Ambassadors have been very busy spreading awareness of Parliament and how our government works. It is an especially important year as it is 100 years since women received the right to vote!

Each year group has worked on a different aspect of Parliament; Lower School focused on our British Values, Middle School looked at the importance of voting and Upper School focused on the Suffragette movement.

As well as this, the School Council and Green Ambassadors created a video to educate each class about Parliament which you can watch below. They will also be judging a whole school poster competition themed on Parliament as well as having an open meeting where any child can ask questions about Parliament to each School Council member.
