Next week is the 4th and last installment of the ABCs Fundamental Challenge with the focus on speed and endurance in the 5 minute continuous run.

Elsewhere at Wandsworth Prep, Reception have continued to develop team work and working in small groups though invasion games. This week, we played ‘Cops and robbers’ and ‘Stepping stones’. Year 1 have been testing their throwing and receiving skills, which resulted in a game of ‘Tidy your bedroom’.

The boys and girls in Years 2 and 3 combined together to take on Orchard House in a game of TAG Rugby on Tuesday afternoon. This was their first ever competitive game of TAG Rugby and even though the opposition consisted of just Year 3 boys, Wandsworth Prep battled hard and played fantastic rugby. On pitch 1, Wandsworth narrowly lost 50 - 40 and on pitch 2, Wandsworth drew 40 - 40.

Next Monday is an exciting afternoon as the boys have a TAG Rugby match vs The Roche School and the girls are taking part in a training session/match also vs The Roche School.

Check out the Wandsworth Prep facebook and twitter pages in the upcoming week for pictures and video highlights.
