Football Festival at Wandsworth Prep

Last Friday, Wandsworth Prep hosted their annual Whole School Football Festival.

The tournament was played in three different leagues: Lower, Middle and Upper School. Every child and teacher took part and there was a total of eighteen teams competing against each other. Each child had the opportunity to put the skills and knowledge they have learnt in their PE lessons to the test. This event also allows the children to demonstrate sportsmanship, be inclusive and have fun. At the end of the tournament, all the children participated in a penalty shootout against their teachers, which was extremely exciting to watch.

It was wonderful to see the children come together and use the skills they have learnt in their PE lessons. All the children demonstrated excellent teamwork and collaboration skills as well as such enthusiasm throughout the day. Well done to all the boys and girls of Wandsworth Prep!
