Excitement is building around Wandsworth Prep’s plans for its upcoming inaugural Christmas Fair which will be held on Tuesday 4th December from 6 - 9pm. We are looking forward to inviting parents and the local community to join us as we get into the Christmas spirit with mince pies, mulled wine and a fantastic choice of festive stalls.
Foxtons has kindly agreed to sponsor the Fair to drum up fantastic awareness of the event and to assist with the cost of the Fair. They are supplying sign boards that supporters (ie. you and all your neighbours!) can display at the front of your houses. Foxtons will donate £15 for each board which is erected by Foxtons’ own professional staff and displayed for 4 weeks prior to the event. Boards can be taken down the day after the Fair. The more boards that are displayed, the more we will raise for the Fair and for our chosen charity, Canine Partners. Please contact the School Office to arrange your board to support Wandsworth Prep’s Christmas Charity Fair.
Wandsworth Prep is delighted to be involved with Canine Partners, a charity which trains Assistance Dogs for people with disabilities. Wandsworth Prep School hopes to raise the £800 required to train an assistance dog, which will help someone with a disability to enjoy greater independence and a better quality of life. The children are looking forward to receiving photographs and updates about their sponsored puppy to see how their support is benefiting others.
Stall pitches for the Christmas Fair are still available so please contact Fiona Heath on 0208 870 4133 if you are interested in hosting one or know someone who would be. There will be a small fee for the pitch, which will include a donation to our chosen charity.
