Starting in September, Fruity Tunes, a children’s music company specialising in the provision of early years music teaching in schools, will be running weekly music lessons for our Reception class.
The aim of the lessons will be to give the children a very positive introduction to music making and lay a foundation of music knowledge with which to build upon in the next stage of their development.
The lessons will engage the children in the use of a range of key musical skills: singing, rhythm and some basic music theory, with the aim being to instil confidence amongst each child that they can perform musically and above all, ensure that their enthusiasm is built, channelled and maintained.
