Half Term Smarties Challenge

Just before the half term holiday, every child returned home with a Smarties Tube and a Good Deed Record Sheet in order to take on 'The Smarties Challenge'. The aim of the challenge was to reward children with a 20p coin for every good deed they did, be it big or small, and to write it on the Record Sheet. All the money collected from the Smarties Challenge will go to our school charity, The Squad. Amazingly, a Smarties tube can hold up to £10-£12 of 20p coins!

Every pupil did fantastically well and participated in a number of good deeds throughout the half term break. Good deeds included tidying their room, the living room or the kitchen to making something for their sibling and even a bake sale. Well done to everyone and we hope the good deeds will continue.

The school has spent the last few days counting up 20p pieces. The grand total will be revealed on Monday so make sure to follow our Facebook and Twitter pages so you are kept up to date with the total amount raised for The Squad. See some photos of our children and their contributions here.
