We are thrilled to welcome Mr Jim to our staff team from September 2014 as part of the expansion of our PE and Sport provision at WPS. Mr Jim will join us as the first member of our in-house specialist PE department which will offer for children the opportunity to take part in a broad range of sporting, games and fixture opportunities.
Mr Jim joins us from his current role as a member of the PE department at Finton House, having spent the past six years working within the Independent sector in SW London. Mr Jim is a qualified sports coach across a wide variety of sports, with a particular interest in football and cricket for both boys and girls, and also offers specialist provision within working with children with learning support needs.
“I am particularly looking forward to joining Wandsworth Prep in September to be a part of an upcoming and vibrant school with the aim of giving each child the opportunity of reaching their sporting potential in a variety of sports with the long term aim of helping them to find a sport they can enjoy for a lifetime.”
Mr Jim will be supported by our existing specialist provision in Swimming and further sports, and we are pleased to be able to roll out to parents our exciting whole school plans for PE provision at Wandsworth Prep. We look forward to watching our children take part in fixtures and sporting opportunities as our school grows in 2014.
