Children’s Character Challenge

This year we are excited to announce that we will be introducing a set of 'Wandsworth Prep Values'.

The Head's blog this week focuses in depth on the reasons behind these values and explores them in further detail. 

These values have been developed in collaboration with the whole staff team and are designed to help children recognise the learning behaviours and Growth Mindset qualities that we see as important to support their learning journey. On Monday 8th October, we introduced our new 'Wandsworth Prep Values' to the children during our assembly.  

We are seeking the children's voice to help us develop the values further. We will be working to clearly define each value and ensure that the children have a deep understanding of what the value looks like in action.

Over the half term, the children will be given an exciting piece of homework which will be to find a fictional character that represents the chosen value for their class and why. We look forward to seeing the children's ideas after the half term and voting for the one we feel best captures the value.
