On Friday 5th March we were so delighted to welcome the award winning author, Jeremy Strong, to our school for our virtual author talks. Jeremy skilfully tailored his talks for the variety of age groups and we thoroughly enjoyed the insight and background to his life as an author.
The school have also organised a special signed copy of a Jeremy Strong book which the children can read and enjoy at home. Did you know that before he became a writer he worked in a bakery, where his job involved putting jam into doughnuts, as a caretaker, a strawberry-picker and in an office for British Rail. We really hope that your children enjoyed their time with Jeremy and felt inspired by his resilience in his quest to become an author. Thanks Jeremy!
