Key Stage 2 has had a wonderful term of project based learning. This time they stepped into the mythical world of the Ancient Greeks and became "Advisors to the Gods". After sorting many in-house problems the Greek Gods were facing, they finished the year with the a wonderful performance of "Persephone and the King of Darkness".
Persephone was stolen from her mother Goddess Demeter and taken into the Underworld by Hades. The pupils decided to dedicate a song to her to give her inner strength and recorded "Fight Song" at Crown Lane Studios. This unique experience enabled the pupils to gain an understanding of what it would be like to work in a studio - learning everything from the recording process to track mixing.
