Key Stage 2’s World War II Assembly

As part of their study of World War II, Key Stage 2 organised an assembly of remembrance for the whole school and their families.

As Michael Morpurgo is our author of the term, the children showed dramatic extracts from 'War Horse' and 'Private Peaceful'.  The children sang 'A Song for Armistice Day' which was very powerful and a fitting tribute. It was a very moving moment when the whole school and their families recited the poem, 'For the Fallen' before the 2 minutes silence. 

Congratulations to Key Stage 2 for putting on an assembly that befitted our war heroes.
