The European Championships

With the end of the Summer term upon us, most of us will be relaxing this summer and having a well-deserved break after an action-packed year at school. Everyone, that is, except Miss Amy, our Year 4 Class Techer.

Miss Amy will be representing Scotland in the Touch Rugby European Championships this summer! From the 18th – 21st July, she will join Scotland Women’s Open Team in the Euros, which will be held in Nottingham. Her first matches will be on Wednesday 18th where she will face Switzerland, Wales and….England! More information and the match schedule can be found by clicking here.

Miss Amy first started playing Touch Rugby at school in Singapore and first represented Scotland in 2012 at the European Championships in Treviso, Italy. She has done incredibly well to continue playing the sport at such a high level and all of us here at Wandsworth Prep shall be supporting her throughout the tournament!
