Wandsworth Prep’s Maths week was once again a roaring success. Motivation for Maths has never been so high after a week of wonderful activities, visits and games.
Throughout the week, pupils were given the opportunity to get hands-on with Maths and to really get their teeth into investigative and problem solving Maths challenges.
On Tuesday, a visit from Mr Chris from AS Creatives, allowed the Middle and Upper school to don their detective hats and get stuck into a CSI conundrum. Lower school also had a visit, from a pirate no less! The children all did very well to help him solve his problems and get back to his crew.
The latter half of the week saw our Maths competitions return, with this year's games of '3-in-a-row' and 'Sliders'. Well done to all our champions, and thank you to all our parents who joined us for some child-led Maths workshops.
We can't wait for Maths Week to come around again. We love learning and we love Maths!
