Poetry in Year One

This week Year One have been super busy writing acrostic poems about animals to submit to the Young Writers 'My First Acrostic' poetry competition! This year's theme is 'Animal Adventures' and is a great opportunity for the children to get their imagination flowing to choose their favourite animal for their poem.

All of our fantastic poems have now been submitted to the competition. We have worked really hard to publish these in our neatest handwriting so you can come and read our entries on our class display board!  Good luck, Year One!
