Our “Eco Warriors'” project is now in full swing! We have spent the last couple of weeks learning about global issues and are now going to start to turn our focus inwards and onto local issues, before choosing a cause to campaign for.
We have so far tackled issues such as deforestation, plastic pollution and climate change and have been thinking about which issue is most damaging and why, as well as considering how it affects people around the world. We have been exploring these issues using internet research, drama and art!
The newly elected eco-council have been chosen by their peers. Congratulations to all those who have been selected. During our first meeting we will be talking about what we can do to make our school a more eco-friendly place.
