Pupils Apply Knowledge and Skills for Forest School Showcase

The children in Year 2 and 3 hosted a Dino Hunt for their Forest School Showcase.

The children were required to draw on all the knowledge they had previously learnt in the classroom and during their forest school sessions in order to find clues deep in the woods. These clues were used to help the children discover what type of dinosaur they were searching for. Then, using their creative skills, the children were challenged to recreate an image of the dinosaur using only natural resources found in the forest.

Pupils had to use their map reading skills, their knowledge of physical features, along with collaboration and resilience skills to complete their mission. The children had a thoroughly enjoyable day and it appeared that some parents may have enjoyed it just as much as the children - if not more!!

Thank you to all the parents that were able to join Year 2 and 3 on the Dino hunt. A huge well done to Middle School for applying their knowledge and skills to complete their tasks so brilliantly.
