Pupils build camp at Forest School

Years 1 and 2 had a fantastic afternoon at Forest School last week and everyone was very excited about eating their lunch in the woods.

After a quick recap of how to keep ourselves safe, we trekked off into the woods to make our camp.

Before embarking on our first challenge, we found a giant spider and most of us took turns to observe him up close and some of us even let him crawl across our skin!

Then, despite our hunger, we managed to erect an enormous waterproof shelter by working together and using our communication and negotiation skills.

Our camp was a perfect place to keep us warm and dry (even though it was a sunny day!),to eat our lunch and tell stories with our friends.
