Pupils Enjoy Workshop on British Values

This Autumn, the pupils have participated in a range of assemblies focused around British Values. Over the last few weeks we have been discussing our ideas and learning about Rule of Law and Democracy. As well as finding out about the US election and comparing the process to our own country, we have also discussed ideas around PEACE and what it means to be a responsible citizen.

This week, the whole school took part in a very exciting workshop centred around the theme of British Values. The session was delivered by the company, Perform For Schools - the UK's leading provider of drama, dance and singing workshops for 4 to 12 year olds.

With an emphasis on world music, language and culture, the workshop celebrated the British Values. Led by Phileas Fogg, imaginations were sparked as the pupils were taken on a journey around the world helping to find the perfect present for Her Majesty’s 90th Birthday. As well as having lots of fun, pupils learnt new skills in improvisation and communication as well as developing confidence and social skills.
