On Tuesday 23rd October, our excited Reception class took part in their first field-trip experience with a visit to the Tate Modern. The children explored the gallery, viewing the Karel Appel piece titled 'Questioning Children'.
The children participated in a gallery workshop where they had to make treasure to be placed in a treasure place which they then exhibited in the gallery which was greatly enjoyed and appreciated by the general public.
Maddox commented on his visit, “I thought the Tate was beautiful and my favourite part was the flashing lights.”
