It has been another successful fortnight of sport at Wandsworth Prep. We have been busy with our PE curriculum and fixtures. Our Lower and Middle School have continually been working on and perfecting routines within gymnastics. We have introduced beams, vaults and springboards into lessons, providing a greater range of gymnastic exploration. Tag-Rugby lessons have aimed to pinpoint offensive positioning, ahead of upcoming fixtures.
Our entire Upper School were involved in a X-Country fixture. A tough run in challenging conditions, our pupils displayed determination and mental positivity to overcome the challenge. Sportsmanship was also displayed by all involved as cheering, support and respect for the opposition was shown. Many thanks to all parents who attended.
On a lovely, sunny Friday morning, selected pupils were invited to compete in a regional west ISA X-Country event. All 12 pupils showed excellent tenacity, resilience and positivity to complete all 1900 meters of the course. Another excellent experience for our pupils, particularly for our Year 5's and 6's, further preparing them for competitive sport at secondary school.
