Supporting GOSH: X Factor Ticket Winners Announced

When Friends of WPS chairperson, Sophie Long, received two tickets to X Factor on Sunday 17 November, she very generously auctioned them to parents at Wandsworth Prep as a Pre-Christmas fair fundraiser for our school charity this year, Great Ormond Street Hospital. The tickets have attracted a number of bids, with the sought after prize offering winners the opportunity to:
  • see the remaining X Factor acts
  • watch two big name performances
  • see the live results
  • watch the filming of The Xtra Factor Live
  • be guided to the VIP bar to mingle with the contestants
Interested bidders each wrote down the amount which they were willing to bid for the tickets and sealed their bid in an envelope, wrote their names on the front and posted it into the X Factor post box in the school office. The highest bidder has now been announced… Congratulations to Rhian and Ed Lloyd, who will be going along this Sunday. It is rumoured that the line up may include Gary Barlow! The full amount of Rhian and Ed’s very generous donation will go directly Great Ormond Street Hospital. On Monday 18 November, Wandsworth Prep will also receive a visit from Great Ormond Street Hospital representative, Valerie Clyne, who will talk to the pupils about how their support of the charity is making a difference.
