Having spent this term following Aslan’s learning challenges the children have been working hard and very collaboratively to solve problems, create illustrations, explore symbolism, develop their own countries, create magical worlds, study battles throughout history, learn about Christmas around the world and delve into an upcycling challenge! Time was also spent in English exploring ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’ and their creative writing this term has been inspired by C.S. Lewis.
Having been invited into school, the parents were treated to a fabulous production of 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe', followed by a carousel around the school as the children showcased all their learning and achievements from this term. The night could only end one way; with hot chocolate, mulled wine and mince pies and accompanied by beautifully sung Christmas Carols.
Aslan is very much on the move. Merry Christmas to all!
