Wandsworth Prep takes part in the Fourth Plinth Schools Awards 2014
28th March 2014
This term, as part of our specialist art lessons with Miss Emma, children in Reception and Year 1 have taken part in the Fourth Plinth Schools Awards 2014.
Inspired by the contemporary art commissions for the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square, this competition has inspired our children to get creative and produce their own work of art.
Judged by Turner Prize winning artist, Jeremy Dunner, the Schools Award offers children a resource to express their views and proves that children believe that public art can act as a method for change.
We look forward to finding out whether any of our wonderful entries are chosen as prize winners by Mr Dunner.
