The Fourth Plinth Art Competition is a national competition which aims to foster imagination and create an art space in Trafalgar square.
The Children at Wandsworth Prep took part in a creative afternoon workshop for the competition. The theme that was chosen was 'peace'. Many children had thoughtful and creative ideas about what peace means to them and how we can create a peaceful world for all.
The children chose what they wanted to work with; clay, 3D junk modelling, paint, drawing or wire.
It was a fun afternoon and the children all came up amazing ideas and artworks. To see some photos of the children creating their masterpieces, please click here.
Good luck with the competition to all involved!
