The last couple of Forest School sessions in Key Stage 1 have incorporated Science into the pupils' learning experience. Pupils have been identifying and naming plants and learning the difference between deciduous and coniferous trees through activities such as meeting a tree and leaf dancing. Pupils have also been learning about the structure of plants through drama, building a tree with people, as well as ground art tree collages. They have also been learning about animal habitats and food sources by going on a mini beast hunt and searching for signs of animals eating.
