Year 2 and 3 Games Night

Earlier in the term, we wrote about how Year 2 and 3 have made links with the School's chosen charity, The Squad, through a Summer term project. Read the article here.

The children did incredibly well and rose to the challenge; they successfully designed and made two games each to give to the members of The Squad. These games were presented to The Squad on Tuesday 3rd July in the presence of Year 2 and 3 pupils and their parents, giving everyone a chance to play with them and see a varity of imaginative ideas from all the pupils.

The evening was also a wonderful opportunity to present The Squad with a cheque equating to over £3500, which the School's PTA has helped raise over the course of the acadmic year through different activities such as the fun run and bake sale. Contributing even more to the total, Year 2 and 3 held a raffle and a quiz at the Games Night whereby all the proceeds went to The Squad.

Well done to Year 2 and 3 for creating such magnificent games to give to The Squad and holding such a fantastic Games Night.
