Year 2 and 3 Visit the Natural History Museum

Over the course of this term and as part of their project, Year 2 and 3 have been working as palaeontologists to discover more about dinosaurs and their hidden past.

The children got the opportunity to showcase their skills during their visit to the Natural History Museum during their dino-scene workshop. The children worked as palaeontologists with the tools to uncover and identify the different dinosaur fossils they found.

The children loved having the opportunity to discover all the other wonders for themselves and bring their learning of the topic to life. Visits, such as this, help enrich a topic and the childrens overall learning experience.
