Meeting the restaurant manager and Chef of Pizza Express inspired Year 2 to understand the different types of careers that they could have in the food industry. Having the whole restaurant to ourselves, we put on our chef hats and aprons (and of course washed our hands!) ready to take on the role of a Pizza Express chef! We learnt how to make dough, what ingredients were included in it, shaped and rolled it out, added tomato and cheese and voila we had our very own Pizza Margherita! There are definitely a few budding chefs in Year 2; their enthusiasm was outstanding and they represented the school fantastically. And the best bit… getting to eat and enjoy our delicious creations once back at school!
