Year 2 recently enjoyed a trip to the Tate Modern, which provided a great opportunity for pupils to compare the style of art with the art seen during the recent Dulwich Art Gallery visit. Pupils became the art for a short while, as they were tapped together and had to move around the gallery space. This attracted the attention of all the visitors who found it an exciting spectacle.
The children were creating art, using the sculptures as inspiration, in the mediums of chalk, pencil and different coloured electrical tape. To assist their London project, pupils drew fabulous pencil sketches of St Paul's Cathedral.
