Lower School Construct Nests in Forest School

23rd Jan 2019

Lower School got creative this week in Forest School when exploring the outdoors.

As a group, together we read the story 'A little bit lost' which is about the different habitats for animals. The children then went on to use natural resources to build their own nests for animals in the forest. This exercise in Forest School helps the children to learn to weave sticks together into a circle and throughout the whole session, the children are working together, building on their teamwork and collaboration skills.
