This week marked the first full week back after the Christmas break. This term the children are recapping all of the ABCs fundamentals they have learnt from the previous term. Each week, the children will be set two challenges with all the points being collated together to form a whole school ‘House Competition’.
This week saw the children take part in the ‘Zig Zag Run’ and ‘Around the World’ tennis ball challenge. Both were agility challenges. After week 1 Wiggins are in the lead with 445 points. Closely followed by Murrey with 430 points and Ainslie and Ennis tied third with 415 points.
Next week will see the children take part in challenges specifically designed to test their balance.
Looking ahead we are pleased to say that we are in the process of arranging a Year 2/3 netball coaching session for the girls in February. This will take place at Wandsworth Park with The Roache School and their specialist netball coach.
We also wish the Year 2 boys all the best in their fixture against The Orchard School on Wednesday.
