Sports Update

20th Nov 2015

This fortnight has been full on! We started the fortnight with a couple of great netball games against Weston Green School (another school within the Bellevue Group) where we came out on top! Congratulations to Year 3 and 4 who played hard and had a 'ball'!

We are now focusing on tag rugby, with pupils from Reception to Year 4 practising a wide range of skills - from passing to try scoring – in preparation for the upcoming Wandsworth Prep Rugby World Cup. Pupils will be split into countries and rotate around stations, playing games and doing rugby drills before they play each other in a number of friendly matches.

On Monday we have an international table tennis champion coming in to show us his skills! Children will be given taster sessions to try out the sport and we are delighted to announce that we will be launching a table tennis after school club - a great sport for children to practise balance, hand-eye coordination and quick reaction time. Exciting stuff!
