Sports Update: What We’ve Learnt And Why PE is Important

13th May 2016

In PE we have been learning a range of skills in both Athletics and Cricket.

I have put together a short video to show how the fundamental skills of striking, throwing and catching have been put into a cricket context for Reception. I also interviewed the pupils to find out what they have learnt over the course of this year, as well as why they think PE is important.

We now look forward to our two upcoming fixtures against Eveline Day School.

Year 3 and 4 Cricket: Wednesday 18th May 2 - 3pm

Year 1 - 4 Athletics: Monday 23rd May 2 - 3 pm

What a great fortnight it’s been!
