PE: Striding ahead

This week in PE, we have focused on sending and receiving. Reception have been developing their basic hand eye co-ordination learning how to run with a ball in their hand and throwing at a target using a beanbag. Year 1 have been learning how to aim and throw accurately with using a variety of equipment and using both underarm and overarm techniques.

Years 2 and 3 have been developing their teamwork skills, working as a team, learning how to direct and communicate with each other effectively.

Next week, we look forward to Wandsworth Prep’s first ever competitive match with the Year 2 boys taking on Finton House at Tooting Bec Common on Friday.
