Meeting Lyra the dog
Yesterday Year 1 went on a school trip to meet Lyra the wellbeing/learning dog who works at another school as part of their ‘Paws, Claws and Whiskers’ project. They had the opportunity to ask questions about Lyra’s care, how Lyra does her job to support children, practice tricks that she was trained to do and see if they could outrun Lyra in a race!
