Wandsworth Preparatory School seeks to sketch a roadmap to future success, instilling a growth mindset from the minute children walk in the door.
High academic standards are achieved under supportive and well-qualified teaching staff. Our pupils are encouraged to develop as individuals with different abilities, tastes and interests, with a “can-do” attitude without neglecting the need for respect for others and core values.
A full range of academic pursuits and extra-curricular activities are open to all pupils.

⚽️ 🏃♂️ Clubs at WPS
Alongside our wraparound that runs until 6pm we have a number of extra curricular clubs. There are plenty of opportunities for our children to explore their interests beyond the classroom.
From football, karate and ballet to mini coding, Lego, art... and more we have something for every child. Our Thursday morning run club is a firm favourite. With Wandsworth Common on our doorstep, it’s the perfect opportunity to get outdoors, enjoy the autumn air and run a few laps together 🏃♂️ 🍂
At Wandsworth Prep, we want every child to discover new interests, develop confidence and enjoy trying something new.
Come and discover what we have to offer and contact admissions@wandsworthprep.com to arrange a tour.

📚 Buddy reading
Our Reception children welcomed Year 2 children to their class for a special reading session.
The Year 2 joined the Reception class to listen to them read, helping with tricky words, sounding out and talking about the stories together.
Buddy reading is a ...wonderful way for older and younger children to learn from one another. It’s also a lovely way to build friendships across the year groups.
Looking forward to the next session already! 📕
🏫 If you’d like to see our children in action and find out what makes our school so special and unique get in touch to arrange a tour.

As part of this half term’s project ‘Big Wide World’ Pre Prep Nursery and Reception visited the London Transport Museum @ltmuseum 🚊
During their visit the children took part in a ‘is this the way home?’ session and learnt and explored different ways of travelling and modes of... transport in the past and present.
It was a fun, engaging and memorable day that helped bring classroom learning to life.
