A Warm Welcome to Our New Head Teacher
We are delighted to officially welcome Mrs Joanna Pache as the new Head of Wandsworth Prep School from September 2025.
With an impressive background in education and a strong commitment to student success, Jo brings with her a passion for learning, inclusion, and community.
Jo is currently Deputy Head at Broomfield House School in Kew. Jo brings extensive knowledge and experience of leadership gained through 24 years working in independent, state and international schools. Having worked in London for many years, Jo has excellent links with local senior schools and looks forward to helping pupils get the individual support they need to take up a school place in Year 7 that allows them to flourish.
Throughout the recruitment process we were thoroughly impressed with Jo’s appreciation of the ethos and community of Wandsworth Prep School and grasp of the opportunities that lie ahead for the school. Jo made a strong and positive impression on the children and staff she met, and their feedback was a central part of the recruitment process. Jo is ambitious for the future of the school and will be focused on providing high quality teaching and learning, outstanding co-curricular provision and raising ambition for each child at every stage. Jo also recognises the pastoral strength of the school and commented:

I look forward to leading with energy, passion and integrity to help the school build on this reputation. I will work to develop a broad but academically rigorous curriculum and will support teachers to deliver it at its full potential. As we begin this exciting new chapter, we invite our whole school community to join us in welcoming Jo. Over the coming weeks, there will be opportunities for parents and carers to meet the new Head, share their thoughts, and hear more about future plans for our school.
