We are delighted to welcome new pupils who join us at different points during their primary journey. Many families choose to join our school in Year 3, as children move into Key Stage 2.
We understand that joining a new school can feel like a big step, for both children and parents, which is why we put a strong emphasis on supporting smooth transitions. Families are invited to come for a tour of the school, followed by a trial day, giving children the chance to experience life in their new class, meet their teachers and classmates, and begin to feel at home before they start.
To make sure every child thrives, we provide interventions and tailored support where needed, ensuring that learning gaps are addressed and children are fully prepared for the challenges ahead. For many families, this includes preparation for the 11+, and we are proud of the structured guidance we provide to give children confidence as they approach this next stage.
Our aim is to make every new pupil feel welcomed, supported, and excited for the opportunities that lie ahead in KS2.
