We had a fantastic (and sunny!) autumn day at our fun run this year. The children from Pre Prep to Year 6 all ran round Wandsworth Common clocking up laps on a wrist band, all in aid of the fantastic charity Sport in Mind.
Children were encouraged to run, walk, skip, or walk round the course in order to achieve as many laps as possible in the time allocated. Pre Prep ran for 15 minutes, Reception to Year 2 ran for 30 minutes and Years 3 to 6 ran for 45 minutes. Parents and carers cheered and even ran with the children and it was a great afternoon, full of cheer and excitement – well done to everyone that took part!
Over £1700 was raised by the children and this will all be donated to the charity.
